Privacy Notice (KVKK)
Information on the processing of your personal data under Turkish Law No. 6698.
As Codek İç ve Dış Ticaret Limited Şirketi ("Codek"), we attach importance to protecting the personal data you submit through our website under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"). This notice has been prepared pursuant to Article 10 of the KVKK.

Personal Data Processed and Collection Methods
Data is collected solely at the moment you voluntarily submit it:
- Request for Quotation (RFQ) form: full name, company, business email, phone (optional), country, product category preference, estimated order quantity, free-text message
- Contact form: full name, email, message
- WhatsApp redirect: only the visible profile information permitted by the app (no record is kept on our site)
- Cookies: detailed in our Cookie Policy
Purposes of Processing
- Responding to your quotation/sample requests
- Carrying out production and order processes
- Responding to your contact requests
- Fulfilling our legal obligations (tax, commercial and consumer law)
- Improving service quality (anonymous analytics)
Legal Basis
Your personal data is processed on the legal grounds of KVKK Art. 5/2 (c) "necessity for the conclusion or performance of a contract" and Art. 5/2 (f) "legitimate interest". In other cases, your explicit consent is obtained pursuant to Art. 5/1.
Transfer
Your personal data is not transferred abroad. Domestically, it may only be shared with authorized public institutions where required by law. Our hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH — Germany) operates servers located within the EU; there is no access beyond what is technically necessary for the infrastructure to function.
Retention Period
- RFQ / contact form records: 5 years from the conclusion of the request (in parallel with TCC Art. 82)
- Cookie data: depending on cookie type (see Cookie Policy)
- Records arising from legal obligations: the period prescribed by the relevant legislation
Your Rights under KVKK Art. 11
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to: learn whether your data is processed, request information if it has been, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, know the third parties to whom it is transferred, request correction if processed incompletely/incorrectly, request erasure/destruction if processed contrary to the KVKK and request that these actions be notified to third parties, object to outcomes against you resulting from automated analysis, and claim compensation for damages.
